It's so easy to get caught up in the storm around you. Have you ever found yourself complaining about something just because someone else brought it up? Would you have even thought to complain about it if they didn't place that burden upon you?
It's up to each of us to rejoice in the good things. Be thankful for the sunshine that follows the storm, but more importantly, share that with others. Give people a reason to be thankful, not complain.
In this season of Thanksgiving, it's not quite as difficult to be thankful because we're reminded of it daily, but what about the rest of the year? Don't be afraid to speak the first words of joy during a trial. Be bold enough to thank God when times are tough or the situation is scary. The darker the storm, the more beautiful we should sing after the rain passes because we should be more thankful than ever for all that we have.
Wishing you all a wonderful, free and humble, weekend.
